Used to get from and to the airport
Had to wait for a while at the airport for a driver.
On the return journey the driver was waiting at the hotel on time (5:00am!)

How to get from cruise ports to the city?

In Istanbul there are 2 cruise ports, both very close to each other:

     -Sali Pazari cruise Port,  for big ships

     -Karakoy Cruise Port,  for relatively smaller ships


After passing the exit gate of the ports, you can easily reach the main Street. Now, depending on where you want to go you will have to take different trasportation( unless you want to take taxi)

--To Taksim: on the main Street, approach the closer tramway station and take the tram heading to Kabatas. From Kabatas  you can take the funiculer, an underground tram which goes straight to Taksim

--To Sultanahmet: on the main Street, approach the closer tramway station and take the tram heading to Bağcilar, Güngören or Cevizlibağ and get off at Sultanahmet stop, where all the monuments are located
