Spend lovely times full of warmth, during the Christmas days in Istanbul
Istanbul may not be the most obvious choice for a travel destination when it comes to Christmas. But although Turkey is a Muslim country, it offers many amazing options to celebrate the most beautiful time of the year!
The city offers many lovely neighborhoods to stroll through while enjoying the beautiful decorations prepaired for the New Years' Eve! Turks love to celebrate the last day of the year...
Fewer crowds
Probably the best time of the year to visit Istanbul, but only if you don't have problem with the cold weather conditions. While most of the tourists and the Turks, visit some other European countries during Christmas, Istanbul becomes a quiter and a non crowded city
Decoration
Even though all the decoration is not about Christams but for New Year' eve, the city is full of lights and beautiful decorations, which of course make you feel the Christmas spirit. Take a walk at Taksim, Istiklal or Nisantasi and enjoy the festive atmosphere!
Christmas Masses
Turkey may not be a Christian country but it’s definitely tolerant towards other religions. To attend a Christmas Mass you don’t need to look further than the city center. For the Christians there are many Churches, such as Agia Triada and Panagia Church, located in Istiklal street and of course the Ecumenical Patriarchate, located in Fener. For the Catholics there is the big Church of Anthony of Padua, right in the middle of Istıklal street
Fireworks everywhere in the sky! This amazing city, becomes even beautiful with all these colorful drops all over the night sky. Taking a cruise while the year is changing, it will be a totaly unique experience for you, watching from distance all the city celebrating!
Experience a totally different New Years' Eve by taking part in our Dinner Cruise on Bosphorus
Numerous choices from Luxury Hotels and Bars to Stylish restaurants and street festivals! Whatever you decide to do, the only sure thing is that you will have an unforgettable time!
